Kathy has over 18 years experience in general practice with interests spanning all areas of medicine. She particularly enjoys working with patients to achieve the best health outcomes possible and recognises the importance of long term patient relationships. Kathy’s main focus is in women’s health, paediatrics, family planning and mental health. Kathy has a focus on understanding the drivers for disease and providing preventative healthcare advice. She has a commitment to the training of medical students and respects the needs and values of patients.
DR Paul Hughes
MBBS, DCH, DRCOG, LMCC
Paul has special interests that include paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecological problems, men’s health and mental health. Paul also specialises in contraceptive advice and minor surgical procedures, such as Mirena and implanon insertion, lip ties and acute casualty care.
Dr Sangavai Sivacharan
Dr. Sangavai Sivacharan is a long time canberra resident, having completed her internship and post graduate fellowship training also in Canberra. She worked in a number of medical facilities in and surrounding Canberra, including Calvary Hospital, Canberra Hospital, Medical Centers in Goulburn, Yass and Jerrabomberra, as well as multiple clinics in Canberra.
Dr Sangavai is a passionate medical professional who is known in the local community for her patient care. She is interested in chronic care, paediatrics, skin health, woman's health and mental health. She believes in staying up to date with latest developments to offer the best care for her patients.
Dr Gina Tsai
MBBS (Monash University 2011), FRACGP (2020)
Dr Gina Tsai grew up in Taiwan and moved to Australia when she was 16. She lived and studied in Melbourne, graduating from Monash University in 2011. Following this she worked in Frankston and Rosebud Hospitals in Victoria, then moved to Canberra to train in Canberra Hospital. She completed rotations in emergency medicine, general medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, and palliative care.
In the last 4 years she lived and worked in the Bega Valley, and attained her general practice fellowship in 2020.
Dr Gina Tsai speaks Mandarin.

Special interests:
Dr Gina Tsai loves General Practice for its varied and broad scope of practice, so says she doesn't truly have a special interest. If you really pushed her for an answer she would probably say palliative care, sexual health, preventative care, and medical education.
Whilst living on the far south NSW coast she developed a love for surfing - talk to her about this and you'll see her light up. She just moved back to Canberra to live with her partner and their dog Hopper.

Dr Maria Comyns is a doctor trained in cosmetic injectables. She enjoys matching skin analysis, anti-wrinkle injections, dermal filler and fat dissolving treatments to your desired facial aesthetic look. Your facial aesthetic journey is unique to each person and Dr Comyns feels it’s her role to professionally guide, match, and inject treatments to your desired outcomes.
Maria have lived in Canberra for 10 years, started General Practitioner training before pursuing a career more aligned with her value set and passion in cosmetics. She studied at UNSW Faculty of Medicine and graduated in 2009, completed her Diploma in Child Health 2015 and cosmetic injector training with Derma Medical in Brisbane at the start of 2019.
