Dr Kathleen Calder

MBBS, FRACGP

Kathy has over 18 years experience in general practice with interests spanning all areas of medicine. She particularly enjoys working with patients to achieve the best health outcomes possible and recognises the importance of long term patient relationships. Kathy’s main focus is in women’s health, paediatrics, family planning and mental health.  Kathy has a focus on understanding the drivers for disease and providing preventative healthcare advice.  She has a commitment to the training of medical students and respects the needs and values of patients.

DR Paul Hughes

MBBS, DCH, DRCOG, LMCC

Paul has special interests that include paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecological problems, men’s health and mental health. Paul also specialises in contraceptive advice and minor surgical procedures,  such as Mirena and implanon insertion, lip ties and acute casualty care.

Dr Philip Verghese

MBBS, FRACGP

Philip has worked in general practice for over 20 years. He is a fellow of the Royal College of General Practice. Philip has an interest in all aspects of general practice and a special interest in Asthma, paediatrics, Men’s Health, Mental Health and Ante-Natal shared care.

Dr Rachel Mackellar

Rachel completed her medical degree in 2005 at the University of Glasgow, before moving to London, where she specialised as a GP (and medical doctor for various bands). Rachel relocated to Sydney in 2012, and was awarded Fellowship to the Royal Australian College of General Practice.

In addition to GP, Rachel has a special interest in aviation medicine, previously working with Virgin Australia and now combines her time in Sydney with Canberra, where she also works with CASA.

She also has a further interest in women's health, sexual health, contraception, and manages to squeeze in time to practice with Family Planning NSW.

In her spare time, Rachel is completing a Masters in aviation medicine and loves going to the gym, practicing yoga, music and spending time with her 2 miniature schnauzers.
